Federal Prosecutor’s Office opens investigation into Roma

Roma is also under investigation in relation to the capital gains case that is currently stirring up the Italian football landscape.

As reported by Il Tempo, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office, after receiving the documents from the Rome Prosecutor’s Office, has opened an investigation into the Giallorossi club.

The greatest risk is that of a referral.

The reason lies in the accounting of the capital gains, calculated on 60 million euros, when they should have been 39.

The operations that have moved the Prosecutor’s Office concern the purchase of Spinazzola from Juventus and the sale of Luca Pellegrini, also to the Bianconeri in 2019.

The decision of the Prosecutor’s Office comes after the indictment of the former Giallorossi president Pallotta and 5 of his executives, namely Fienga, Baldissoni, Gandini, Francia and Malknecht.
