FC Utrecht have announced that they have agreed another loan deal with Charleroi for 20-year-old attacker Anthony Descotte. The young forward suffered from injuries that stopped him for having an impact for the side from the Cathedral City, but the club in their press release claimed that they liked what they saw from him during his time with the club. Utrecht also have a purchase option on the forward that would bring him to the club on a contract until 2029.
Descotte only managed to make six appearances for the first team in the Eredivisie this season. He also played for the sides second team in the Dutch second tier, scoring one goal in his only appearance. The Belgian youth international came through the academy at Charleroi and played 20 times for the first time. He did not score during that period but did provide one assist.
It is not clear how much the purchase option is for, but Transfermarkt values the youngster at €500k.
