FC Köln target Nîmes Olympique striker Moussa Koné

Regional outlet Express.de report that Bundesliga side FC Köln are interested in doing a deal with French side Nîmes Olympique for 23-year-old Senegalese striker Moussa Koné.

The former Dynamo Dresden attacker has played a bit-part role for Olympique Nîmes since joining the Ligue 1 club last summer and would be available for €2.5m.

FC Köln have identified their attack as an area to strengthen following the departure of Jhon Córdoba to Hertha BSC and the injury summer signing Sebastian Andersson picked up in training on Wednesday.
