FC Bayern have reportedly been interested in Assan Ouedraogo for some time. However, the transfer of the 18-year-old midfielder has apparently not yet been finalised.

It has already been reported that Assan Ouedraogo is on the verge of signing for FC Bayern. However, according to Sky, no final decision has yet been made regarding the Schalke 04 player’s future.

The 1.91 metre tall midfielder is regarded as S04’s greatest talent. RB Leipzig are also rumoured to be very interested.

According to Sky, the 18-year-old has been offered a five-year contract by Bayern. Bayern would loan Ouedraogo to Schalke for a further year in the event of a transfer in the summer.

Discussion with Kompany will be decisive

According to Sky, however, Ouedraogo will only make a final decision once he has held talks with future Bayern coach Vincent Kompany. Kompany should convince him of the Bayern project, then the second division player would probably say yes to Bayern.

According to Sky, FC Bayern have already held numerous talks regarding the transfer and are confident of finalising the deal. The possible Schalke loan deal has also already been prepared.
