Aston Villa and Reading get the weekend’s fixtures underway, with the Villains hoping for a response to last week’s heavy defeat but up against a Royals’ side that held Arsenal.

It’s bottom versus top as Bristol City face Chelsea, while Manchester United – who are goal-difference behind the leaders – host Birmingham City.

Third-placed Arsenal welcome West Ham, with Manchester City – two points behind the Gunners – go to Brighton.

Tottenham take on Everton with both sides securing loan signings yesterday, as Abbie McManus joined Spurs and Jill Scott returned to the Toffees.

Durham kick-off the Championship fixtures on Sunday with a noon start against London Bees, as the unbeaten Wildcats look to go level on points – if only very briefly – with leaders Leicester City. The Foxes play Crystal Palace whom they recently narrowly beat away in the Conti Cup.

Lewes signed forward Ini Umotong ahead of hosting third-placed Sheffield United, London City Lionesses meet Blackburn Rovers and there’s a basement battle between Coventry United and Charlton Athletic.
