Arsenal keep up 100% record

Scorers: Little 39′, 52′, Mead 61′, Fisk (OG) 84′.

Kim Little scored twice as Arsenal made it six wins out of six at the start of the Super League season.

The Gunners kept up their 100% start to the season to remain top of the table, with Little putting the hosts in front in the 39th minute before grabbing her 50th league goal at the start of the second half with a quick turn of pace to get away from her marker before lashing the ball past Mackenzie Arnold.

Beth Mead then grabbed her 11th goal of the season nine minutes later to put the game beyond doubt, lofting the ball over Arnold after being played through by Nikita Parris, before Grace Fisk turned into her own net six minutes from time as Arsenal added some gloss to the scoreline.

City come from behind to pick up crucial win

Scorers: Sigsworth 1′; Weir 24′, Walsh 37′, Hemp 71′, Coombs 83′.

Manchester City came from behind to earn a vital win to ease the pressure on under-fire boss Gareth Taylor.

Jessica Sigsworth gave the Foxes the lead after just one minute when she slipped an effort under goalkeeper Karima Benameur.

But Caroline Weir equalised for the visitors midway through the first half when she tucked away a chance from inside the box after some neat link-up play down the left-hand side.

City then completed the turnaround before half-time through Keira Walsh who hit a rocket from the edge of the area into the top corner.

Before Lauren Hemp ran away from the Foxes defence to place the ball into the bottom corner to wrap up the victory late into the second half, before Laura Coombs poked home the fourth seven minutes from time.

City move up to seventh after their first league win since September.

Rose double helps Reading to comfortable victory

Scorers: Dowie 48′, Rose 54′, 71′.

Deanne Rose bagged a second half brace as Reading eased to a comfortable away victory at St.Andrews.

Natasha Dowie was on hand to give the Royals the lead, poking home from three yards out after a corner had been blocked on the line before Rose picked up the first of her brace when she was found unmarked in the box to finish off a lovely team move with a header.

The 22-year-old rounded the goalkeeper to tap the ball into the empty net to round off the victory for Reading who move above Everton into ninth.

Manchester United denied by late Tottenham equaliser

Scorers: Percival 90+5′; Russo 45+1′

Manchester United had to settle for a draw after conceding a late equaliser away at Tottenham.

Alessia Russo broke the deadlock in first half stoppage time when she unleashed a rocket into the roof of the net from a tight angle.

But Ria Percival levelled for Spurs in the 95th minute to lift her side up to third in the table.

Marc Skinner’s United are down in fifth.
