Ipswich Town extended their lead in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier in front of bumper crowd at Southampton.

Ipswich Town made it eleven wins in a row and moved nine points clear of title-rivals Southampton FC in the Southern Premier. Abbie Lafayette’s free-kicks led to both goals, Natasha Thomas heading home from the first and Maddie Biggs knocking the ball on for Zoe Barratt to net via the crossbar on the hour mark.

Oxford United went up two places to third in the table with a 3-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle, against whom Rachel Panting, Riva Casley and Beth Lumsden were on target.

Wem Town leapfrogged Holwell Sports after defeating them 2-0 with a Katie Doster double, as they jumped up to seventh place in Division 1 Midlands.

Liverpool Feds are five points clear in Division 1 North following a 4-1 win at basement side Alnwick. Chan Thompson scored twice, Demi Devereaux and Amy Seagraves once each, before the hosts got one back.

Division 1 South East leaders Billericay Town took the points 2-0 at Kent Football United, Ellie Jeffkins and Jay Blackie the scorers.

Second-placed Hashtag United stayed three points off the top side but had to come from behind to beat Norwich City 4-1. Cerys Adams and Gemma Baker found the net, with Malika Apindia adding a double.
