Harlow Town’s first ever win in the FA Women’s National League came despite trailing Norwich City 3-0 away.

Northern Premier

Hull City 0-0 West Bromwich Albion Middlesbrough 1-2 Stoke City (Att: 129)

Stoke City’s 2-1 win at Middlesbrough saw them leapfrog their hosts into ninth place. Elysia Boddy had Boro ahead from the spot but  Rebecca Knight and Roisin Kivel replied for the Potters.

Hull City secured a second point of the campaign in a goalless game with West Brom.

Southern Premier

Chichester & Selsey 1-2 Cardiff City Ladies (Att: 92)

Cardiff City Ladies got a late winner at Chichester & Selsey to move up to eighth in the table. Ellie Sargeant grabbed an 88th-minute winner, after Gemma Simmonds’ 80th-minute effort had cancelled out Kaitlyn Morgan’s early goal for the Welsh side.

Division 1 Midlands

Wem Town 0-2 Doncaster Rovers Belles (Att: 67) Sporting Khalsa 2-1 Bedworth United

Doncaster are two points short of Division 1 Midlands leaders Lincoln City following their victory at Wem Town, where Nadia Khan and Charlotte Dinsdale were on target.

Sporting Khalsa climbed two places to ninth by coming from behind to beat basement side Bedworth United, both their goals scored by Gurjit Dulay.

Division 1 North

Norton & Stockton Ancients 2-4 Newcastle United (Att: 160)

Newcastle United gained ground on the top two in Division 1 North, when coming from behind to win at Norton. Bethany Guy and Katie Barker both equalised, Rachel Lee converted a penalty and Georgia Gibson got the visitors’ fourth.

Division 1 South East

Billericay Town 3-0 Cambridge United London Seaward 0-0 Enfield Town (Att: 30) Norwich City 3-4 Harlow Town (Att: 152)

Billericay beat Cambridge United to go level on points with Division 1 South East leaders Hashtag United. Karissa Rodney netted a couple, Zoe Rushen the other.

Harlow Town had to battle hard for their first ever points in the league, edging a seven-goal thriller at Norwich City where they trailed 3-0 at the interval. Billie Brooks bagged a brace, Davina Smith and Beth Chambers one each.

London Seaward and Enfield Town played out a goalless draw, which lifted the visitors one place to ninth.

Exeter entertain record crowd

Exeter City played fellow FAWNL side Plymouth Argyle in the Devon Cup, watched by a record crowd for the hosts of 1,380 at St James Park. The Pilgrims led through Zoe Cunningham but Zoe Watkins levelled and the Grecians eventually went through on penalties.
