Derby County returned to the top of the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier with victory over Stoke City, while Fylde drew at Burnley.

Northern Premier

Brighouse Town 1-0 Huddersfield Town (Att: 273) Burnley 2-2 Fylde (Att: 120) Derby County 5-0 Stoke City (Att: 521) West Bromwich Albion 0-3 Wolverhampton Wanderers (Att: 480)

Derby County went top of the table as over 500 fans saw them put five past Stoke. Precious Hamilton hit a hat-trick, Jade Formaston netted from 30 yards and Ellie Gilliatt completed the scoring.

Fylde lost the leadership following a 2-2 tie at Burnley, where Faye McCoy’s stoppage-time penalty rescued a point. Millie Ravening and Ellie Priestley had given the Clarets the lead, Amy Hughes getting Fylde’s first equaliser.

Wolves went third when winning the Black Country derby 3-0 at West Brom, Amber Hughes and Tammi George on target in the first half, Jade Cross adding a last-minute third.

A first-half own-goal gave Brighouse victory over Huddersfield, cutting the gap on the fourth-placed Terriers to five points with three games still in hand.

Southern Premier

Ipswich Town 0-0 Gillingham (Att: 287) London Bees 5-0 Hounslow (Att: 45) Southampton FC 8-0 Chichester & Selsey (Att: 224)

Gillingham held leaders Ipswich to a goalless draw away from home, Southampton FC sank Chichester & Selsey 8-0 – with the aid of Sophia Pharoah’s first-half brace – to sit eight points off the top from four games fewer. London Bees are up to fifth, their 5-0 defeat of Hounslow leaving the west London side without a point from 13 games. It was only 1-0 at the break though, with Jo Wilson contributing twice in the second period.

Division 1 South West

Maidenhead United 1-4 Chesham United (Att; 78)

Chesham went level on points with fourth-placed Maidenhead after coming from behind to beat them 4-1 on their own ground. The Magpies scored in the third minute but a Gemma Fraser double helped Chesham take the points.
