According to Foot Mercato, FC Toulouse winger Farès Chaïbi (20) has verbally agreed personal terms to join Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

Chaïbi has blossomed in his first season in Ligue 1. The Algerian international has eight goals and six assists in 33 games in all competitions for Toulouse this season, following the club’s promotion from Ligue 2 last campaign. That form has not gone unnoticed.

The Toulouse Academy graduate has attracted interest from across Europe. Foot Mercato have previously reported interest from Arsenal and Sevilla. Frankfurt have now verbally agreed on personal terms with Chaïbi, however, Toulouse’s financial demands threaten to derail the deal.

Toulouse’s demands have led to Frankfurt exploring other options, including Zeki Amdouni, a 22-year-old Swiss international, who currently plays for FC Basel. However, the player is under contract at Lausanne, a partner club of Ligue 1 side OGC Nice. Like Chaïbi, Amdouni is also courted by many clubs across Europe.
