West Bromwich Albion suffered another blow in their quest for automatic promotion this weekend, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat away against Carlos Corberan’s Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Danel Sinani’s sixth-minute tap-in proved to be the difference between the two sides on the day, with the Baggies unable to capitalise on their dominance yet again as one of their key weaknesses so far this season.

One key positive for Valerien Ismael’s men is the fact key man Alex Mowatt made his return from injury and looked set to give his side a major boost after losing just one of the 12 games he’s been involved in this term before yesterday’s tie.

Quiz: Have West Brom ever won an away game at each of these 20 stadiums?

However, he was unable to prevent a defeat for the Baggies who now find themselves eight points behind the automatic promotion spots, a deficit that will be extended to nine if AFC Bournemouth win all three points against strugglers Derby County this lunchtime.

This leaves Ismael’s side with a huge amount of work to do if they want to get back on track after losing four of their last eight league matches – and this mission will start against Blackpool in midweek.

One man they will be without as they travel north to Bloomfield Road is captain Jake Livermore, who was sent off for a high foot with just over ten minutes remaining.

But are West Brom fans gutted to be without their skipper for the next game? What’s their verdict on the 32-year-old after yesterday’s game?

We look at the latest reaction on Twitter.
