Fantasy Football Hub is the place fantasy managers need to come to if they want to win at FPL – and now it is even better than ever before.

We launched our incredible new My Team tool at the start of the season – your one-stop shop for insight into your own Fantasy Premier League team – but it has now got even better.

In this article, we’ll outline My Team and explain its new recommended transfers feature.

What is My Team?

Hub founder Will Thomas’s vision when he launched the site was to make it the place to go for everything you need to becoming a winning fantasy football manager.

My Team achieves this in one tool.

It’s a planner, team rater, optimiser and predictor all in one. Want to know how many points your team is forecast to score each gameweek? After a real-time update of your overall rank? Want to see your most optimal captain and bench set up? Curious whether a planned transfer will improve your squad?  My Team has you covered.

My Team also shows you the best team for each gameweek, based on predicted points, and recommends the best Wildcard side if you were to play the chip at that time.

And now, you can get personalised recommended transfers designed specifically with your own FPL team in mind – but more about this below.

Check out My Team here.

The My Team home screen

How to use My Team

Find My Team on our desktop site by clicking on the ‘My Team’ button at the top, on the navigation bar. On mobile, it’s in the same place, while on our app it’s got it’s own tab at the bottom of the screen.

The first time you access My Team, you’ll be presented with a blank squad.

The simplest way to get started is to click the ‘Import your FPL team’ button in the bottom left. Enter your team ID when prompted.

If you already have a side set up in My Team but want to import one, click on ‘Reset’ and this should bring up the import button.

How to find your FPL ID

You can find your FPL ID on the FPL site.

You can’t find it via the FPL app but if you navigate to the FPL website itself and ‘Pick Team’ tab, you’ll find ‘Gameweek History’ on the right under your team name and details such as overall points and rank.

If you look at the URL once you’ve found your way to the Gameweek History screen, there will be a number in it – this is your FPL ID.

Once you import your team, you’ll go from this…

…to this, with your FPL side now imported into the My Team tool

Once you’ve selected your team, you will see a couple of key things change.

At the top, your team will now have a team rating, gameweek rating (GW) predicted points and live rank.

The team rating is a weighted five gameweek overview and the GW Rating, which gives a rating based purely on the specific gameweek selected.

Predicted points is based on the Hub algorithm’s assessment of how many FPL points your selected team will score in the relevant gameweek.

You can see predicted points for individual players beneath their shirts on your My Team screen.

Hub members can also sort players by five-gameweek points prediction in the Player Selection bar on the right-hand side.

How to make changes to your team

My Team works similarly to the FPL website. By clicking an individual player, you can remove them, sub them out or make them captain/vice-captain.

As you make your changes, your ratings and predicted points will change accordingly.

Best teams feature

At the top of the tool, you’ll find two ‘Best Team’ tabs.

The best gameweek team shows you our predicted points algorithms optimum team for the week, selecting the best possible squad to score the highest predicted points.

Best Wildcard team offers the best possible squad based on a longer period of time – a five-gameweek overview. This will show you a predicted points comparison, split by position, compared to your current squad.

Feature update (December 2022): Recommended transfers

My Team – recommended transfers

The recommended transfers feature is a brand new addition for December 2022, making My Team even more powerful.

As shown above, once your side is imported into My Team, it will analyse your team and recommend your transfer for the following coming Gameweek taking into account your current team and budget.

If you don’t want to sell a player which My Team recommends, you can lock them by clicking on the padlock next to their name on the right-hand side. A ‘Reload’ button will then appear, which will present My Team’s recommendations again with your selection discounted.

You’ll notice some other icons in this section, too. My Team will point out if a player is suspended, while the green and red pound signs tie in with our player price changes prediction tool. It shows which players we think are likely to rise or fall that evening – although please note prices are frozen during the World Cup.

Because Gameweek 17 offers everyone the chance to make unlimited transfers, the tool will recommend more changes than usual.

NOTE: Unlimited recommended transfers is only currently available on desktop
