In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 22.
Daniel Svensson, Dortmund (Defender, 7M, 0%)
Ramy Bensebaini missed the midweek game against Sporting, so Svensson stepped in and impressed on his first start. Costing just 7 million, the Swede is expected to retain his place for this weekend's trip to bottom side Bochum.
Leo Østigård, Hoffenheim (Defender, 9M, 0%)
Judging by his debut for Hoffenheim, Østigård seems to be well suited to the game's scoring system. Despite conceding four goals with Hoffenheim against Union Berlin, he still managed to rack up a whopping 302 points, 252 of which came from duels won. Although Hoffenheim are struggling heavily at the moment, this bodes well for the coming games, especially as Christian Ilzer's approach a favorable run of fixtures.
Anthony Caci, Mainz (Defender, 10M, 6%)
Mainz welcome back Caci from suspension for their trip to Heidenheim, who are winless in their last five Bundesliga games. With just below 200 points per game on average, the Frenchman has been Mainz's best-performing Fantasy asset this season. Heidenheim will take confidence from their 2-1 win over FC Copenhagen on Thursday, but the trip to the Danish capital may have taken its toll on Frank Schmidt's side in terms of fatigue.
Mitchell Weiser, Werder Bremen (Defender, 13M, 19%)
Weiser has struggled to live up to his price tag of late, but the attacking wing-back could be in for a treat against crisis-stricken Hoffenheim on Sunday. Be aware, though, that he's just a yellow card away from suspension.
Romano Schmid, Werder Bremen (Midfielder, 10M, 9%)
Schmid scored over 200 points in six consecutive games before missing last week's defeat to Bayern through injury. The attacking midfielder is now set to return to action against Hoffenheim, and given their poor form, another good return looks highly likely.
Nadiem Amiri, Mainz (Midfielder, 13M, 3%)
Mainz's midfield talisman hasn't been at his best of late, but Sunday's game against Heidenheim is a good opportunity for him to pick up points through his big involvement.
Kevin Stöger, Gladbach (Midfielder, 15M, 0%)
Stöger has seized his opportunity in recent weeks and was recently praised by Gladbach coach Gerardo Seoane. The attacking midfielder's composure on the ball, ability to pick out key passes and win duels means he has a good foundation to pick up points, and Gladbach's favorable run of fixtures only makes him more intriguing.
Marvin Ducksch, Werder Bremen (Striker, 10M, 5%)
Facing a Hoffenheim side that just conceded four goals against Union, Werder's attacking talisman should have good prospects this week.
Benjamin Sesko, RB Leipzig (Striker, 14M, 8%)
Sesko scored and provided an assist as Leipzig ended their winless run against St. Pauli last week and will be looking to build on that performance against Augsburg. With Leipzig at home to Heidenheim next week, he's not just a good option this time around.
Serhou Guirassy, Borussia Dortmund (Striker, 19M, 6%)
Niko Kovac's debut in charge of Borussia Dortmund was a disappointing one, but BVB will take confidence from their midweek win over Sporting CP, in which Guirassy scored and provided an assist. Starting off with this weekend's game against Bochum, Dortmund now have an excellent schedule ahead of them, making the Guinea international a good long-term investment.
