Fans support team with tifo dedicated to the Kaiser | OneFootball

Bayern fans once again produced an electric atmosphere for the Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid as they unveiled a giant tifo in honour of Franz Beckenbauer as the teams walked out at the Allianz Arena. A more than worthy setting for one of the greatest of all time.

Spread across the three tiers of the south stand, they revealed the figure of the Kaiser on a red and white background with the message “A leader on the pitch, known around the world”. The fans were making absolutely clear that they wanted to play their part in helping the team progress to this year’s final.

Prior to the game, the club and the players had called for unified support inside the Allianz Arena with their message of All in Red. It meant Manuel Neuer and his team walked out onto the pitch with that extra bit of motivation to take on Los Blancos.
