Inter’s first training session of the preseason preparations is taking place without fans, due to safety reasons surrounding the presence of fans at the club’s training ground.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri supporters are not able to attend the training and support the training due to issues with the parking structure at the training facilities among other things.

Inter have officially made their return to training today as they start their preparations for the upcoming season which is set to start in just over a month.

For the moment, a number of first-team players are missing from training as those players who participated in the busy international window at the end of the season have been given an extra week off.

However, fans will still have liked to have shown up to cheer on those players who have already returned to training with Simone Inzaghi, but at the moment this has been deemed a safety risk.
