Chelsea will be hoping to win back the Vitality Women’s FA Cup trophy on Sunday when they face London rivals Arsenal in the 2020/2021 final at Wembley.

The Blues already hold last season’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League title and the FA Women’s Continental League Cup and they now have the treble in their sights.

Ahead of this weekend’s final, FAWSL Full-Time have reviewed Chelsea’s previous appearances in Vitality Women’s FA Cup finals and here are all of the facts and figures behind those fixtures.

50 – Chelsea have a 50% record when contesting Vitality Women’s FA Cup finals, they have won two and lost two.

2 – Swiss international Ramona Bachmann has scored the most goals for Chelsea in Vitality Women’s FA Cup finals, she has found the back of the net on two occasions.

2015 – Chelsea first won the Vitality Women’s FA Cup in 2015. Ji So-yun’s first half goal helped fire The Blues to a 1-0 victory over Notts County at Wembley.

3 – It has been three years since Chelsea last contested a Vitality Women’s FA Cup final. On that occasion, they defeated Arsenal 3-1 at Wembley.

2012 – Chelsea lost their first Vitality Women’s FA Cup final back in 2012. The Blues went down 3-2 on penalties to Birmingham City at Ashton Gate following a 2-2 draw after extra-time.

1 – Chelsea have only ever netted one first half goal in Vitality Women’s FA Cup finals. That goal came from Ji So-yun against Notts County in 2015.

4 – If Chelsea lift the Vitality Women’s FA Cup on Sunday, they will move into joint-fourth in terms of the number of times that a club has lifted the trophy.

0 – Neither of the last two finals have included Chelsea or Arsenal, both clubs are making their first appearances at this stage of the competition since 2018.
