Fabrizio Romano Provides the Latest on PSG’s Pursuit of Tanguy Ndombele
PSG Talk
Paris Saint-Germain could be having a new midfielder come into the squad in the coming hours. The capital club is in talks with Tottenham Hotspur over Tanguy Ndombele, and with only days until the January transfer window closes, the clock is ticking to strike a deal.
Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest regarding the possible transfer for Ndombele. He states that the talks between the two clubs are ongoing, adding that the main point for Tottenham is that PSG takes over the salary 100-percent.
Romano also confirms a report from Foot Mercato, which revealed that the Ligue 1 side is in contact with Ndombele’s agents. However, the information doesn’t clarify whether talks are over a permanent deal, a loan with an option to buy, or a loan with an obligation to buy.
Nonetheless, Tottenham plays Chelsea Sunday, so if the 25-year-old isn’t in the squad, it might indicate how far along the discussions are between the two clubs.
