Romano has claimed that the forward has agreed on the move and is waiting to undergo his medical/sign the contract.

Origi's deal at Anfield ends this summer and despite having a clause that could extend it for another season, the Belgian has not met the threshold of games to activate it.

James Pearce of The Athletic has also reported, as cited by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, that Origi has agreed terms to join the Italian side this summer.

Pearce further adds that while a contract has not yet been signed and a medical is yet to take place, the Serie A side appear increasingly certain to be the forward’s destination when his Liverpool contract expires this summer.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Last month, Klopp was asked if his side will miss Origi when he leaves this summer.

"We will never miss a player like him because if he leaves, he will explode wherever he goes. He is a world-class striker, he is a legend and will stay a legend forever," said Klopp, as quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter.

"He doesn't always make the squad which is ridiculous, but he is there when we need him every time. He was involved in both games.

"We will never miss a player like him more, he is a world-class striker, he is a legend and will stay a legend forever."

It's going to be an emotional day for many people when Origi departs Anfield. He has given us fans so many amazing memories.

Despite not being the main striker during his time with the Reds, Origi will always be remembered for his clutch moments in the big games.

Wherever the Belgium international ends up, he can be sure that millions of Liverpool fans will be watching his career with keen eyes.
