Legendary Italian football manager Fabio Capello has shared his belief that both Inter and Juventus have made decisios that will result in them returning to being protagonists whilst he has admitted that he thinks former employers AC Milan can win the Serie A title this term.

“AC Milan can win the Scudetto. Anyone can dream big. AC Milan can now do it. Indeed, they must,” he explained as part of a long interview with Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera, which appeared in yesterday’s print edition of the Milanese news outlet.

Capello then went on to speak about some of the recent matches that the Rossoneri have played in that have left him impressed.

“The win in Naples was an impressive show of their strength but the win against Fiorentina also struck me enormously.

“In terms of how they done it with ease and determination and managed the game like great teams do, without anxiety and above all without Ibra.”

The former English national team boss proceeded to speak on the other teams in Serie A who were expected to be challenging at the top but for various reasons have not quite hit the heights they were expected to just yet.

“The difficulties of the other great teams ? Inter and Juve have made choices that will clearly bring them back to being protagonists, they have large and rich squads.”

He then spoke on a few more teams and reaffirmed his stance on where he thinks this AC Milan side can go.

“Lazio are an enigma, Atalanta depend on how the Champions League goes, Napoli are structured but AC Milan, trust me, are up there because they deserve it and they can stay there until the end.”
