We would not blame Klopp if Van Dijk is his favourite Liverpool player. The Dutchman is an elite defender after all.

It will be good to see Van Dijk back in action this season. The 30-year-old missed the majority (45 matches) of the 2020-21 campaign due to a knee injury. However, Van Dijk is now back in training.
