Fabianski Gets 8, Cresswell With 6 | West Ham United Players Rated In Tough Loss Vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen | OneFootball

West Ham United locked horns with Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the Bay Arena earlier tonight as they looked to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Europa League. The Hammers made a decent start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Jonas Hofmann finally managed to break the deadlock in the 83rd minute before Victor Boniface doubled the home team’s advantage in injury time. The contest finished with West Ham suffering a tough 2-0 loss away from home.

Fabianski made a lot of crucial saves at the back and did enough to keep the scoreline respectable.

He did his fair share of defending and made one decent run with the ball. He was replaced in the 85th minute.

The French talent cleared the danger when needed but still conceded two goals late in the game.

CB: Aaron Cresswell – 6/10

He failed to impress and produced a disjointed performance on the defensive end of the pitch.

RM: Vladimir Coufal – 7/10

Coufal didn’t do much wrong at the back but was a bit wasteful with his passing.

CM: Tomas Soucek – 7/10

He earned possession back twice for his team in the middle of the park and was accurate with his passing.

CM: James Ward-Prowse – 6.5/10

Ward-Prowse anchored the midfield relatively well and made one decent run from midfield.

LM: Emerson Palmieri – 6.5/10

The Italian came back to defend when needed but offered very little going forward.

RAM: Mohammed Kudus – 7/10

He made a few decent runs with the ball but failed to register a goal.

LAM: Lucas Paqueta – 6/10

Paqueta made a few driving runs with the ball and has got nothing to show for his efforts.

ST: Michail Antonio – 6.5/10

He worked hard in the final third but never looked like he would score.
