Arguably, Fabian Schar is even happier with now having Steve Bruce no longer at Newcastle United.

Only two Premier League starts for Newcastle United in over nine months and not a single minute on the pitch since September, totally sidelined by both Steve Bruce and Graeme Jones.

Fabian Schar says all the Newcastle United first team squad are now happy to have Eddie Howe and his coaching staff here now, having replaced Bruce and the other Steves.

Schar says that training with Eddie Howe has been ‘amazing’ and that it is crystal clear to see just how ‘hard working’ the new Head Coach and his staff are…

Earlier today a newspaper carried quotes from Steve Agnew trying to defend the embarrassing training regime under Steve Bruce, where he (Bruce) gave himself and his players so much time off, rather than working on the training pitch.

Newcastle fans loving the fact that Eddie Howe was at the training ground before 7am on his first day and that he’s had the players working so hard ahead of the Brentford match, unlike Steve Bruce who loved a holiday during an international fortnight.

Fabian Schar clearly thinks the Newcastle United squad have reacted well to the change, saying that they ‘will do everything’ for Eddie Howe.

The real test of course will be on Saturday BUT every encouragement can be taken from Eddie Howe’s impact so far on both players and fans.

Fabian Schar talking to NUFC TV – 18 November 2021:

“I have had just two training sessions now [after returning from international duty] with them [Eddie Howe and his coaching staff] but all I can say and what I hear from the lads, is that it has been amazing.

“You can see how hard working guys they are and they want to get the best out of each player.

“This is what every player is expecting from a manager as well.

“Everyone will do everything for the manager and for the team.

“We are all happy to have them here now.

“We are looking together for the next few games.

“Now we have to start and win games.”
