The FA Cup has started for the 2022/23 season and we've already seen a few trademark giant-killings send shockwaves up and down the English football pyramid.
The competition is renowned for producing upsets and many will be hoping to see the magic of the cup in full flow as the tournament rolls on.
Here are the all the results from the first round so far.
The biggest story of the first round came as seventh-tier Alvechurch dumped out League One Cheltenham with a 2-1 victory.
The lowest-ranked side still in the competition took the lead through Danny Waldron before he added another early in the second half before Ryan Jackson pulled one back for the hosts. However, Alvechurch held on to record a victory over a side 96 places above them in the football pyramid.
Chippenham also enjoyed a cupset over League One opposition. The National League South side were triumphant over Lincoln thanks to Joe Hanks’ 44th-minute strike. Fellow sixth-tier outfits Farnborough and King’s Lynn also managed surprise victories over League Two sides Sutton and Doncaster respectively.
The second round will be played on the weekend of Saturday 26 November 2022.
The draw for the 2022/23 FA Cup second round proper will be conducted on Monday 7 November. 40 teams participate in the second round, though no new teams will be added to the draw.
44 new teams from the Premier League and Championship will enter the FA Cup at the third round, including defending champions Liverpool who beat Chelsea in last season's final.
