The semi-final draw was conducted on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning. Former England goalkeeper Rachel Brown Finnis was tasked with drawing the balls out of the bag.
Manchester United and Chelsea will have both gone into the draw quietly confident of reaching another Adobe Women’s FA Cup final, however, one side will exit the competition in the semi-final stage with the pair set to meet at the Leigh Sports Village. The two sides previously met in last season’s final with Chelsea running out 1-0 winners at Wembley.
The other Adobe Women’s FA Cup semi-final tie will see Tottenham Hotspur play host to Leicester City. Neither side have ever qualified for a major domestic cup final before.
The two semi-final ties will be staged over the weekend of 13 and 14 April 2024. Final dates, kick-off times, broadcast details and ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
This season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup final is scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 12 May 2024. All general admission tickets have sold out. Further ticket allocations for the finalists will be released upon the conclusion of the semi-final ties.
