The Blues announced news of their end of season departures via an official club press release this evening.
Moore and Walker are the notable exits at St. Andrew’s this summer. Youngsters Abi Cowie and Georgie Ferguson are also moving on.
Midfielder Moore and forward Walker have made more than 200 appearances for Birmingham City combined. The pair have both enjoyed two spells with the Blues. Both players featured heavily for the club this season with Moore making 18 appearances in the Barclays Women’s Championship and Walker having been given 17 outings.
Defender Cowie signed her first professional deal with Birmingham City in summer 2022. The youngster made 18 appearances in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division this season during a loan spell with Nottingham Forest.
Goalkeeper Ferguson also spent the campaign out on loan at a third tier club. She made 17 appearances for Stoke City in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division.
In addition to the four first team departures, Birmingham City have also confirmed that 11 members of their Under-21 side will be moving on.
