The club have a poor record at Old Trafford with just one win in the last 16 league trips, but manager Mikel Arteta will be eyeing another three points.

Ahead of the game, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Bukayo Saka have been deemed doubtful.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya has been an undisputed starter between the sticks. He recently won the Golden Glove award with 15 shut-outs and will be eyeing another clean sheet against United.

Ben White is an assured starter at right-back. Marcus Rashford has had the better of him in the past., but will be eager to make amends.

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have been the Premier League’s best central defensive pairing. They have helped keep six clean sheets in the last eight games and will start the game.

Tomiyasu was not spotted in training earlier this week. However, the Japanese star is expected to start at left back ahead of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior.

Thomas Partey and Declan Rice should continue for the third game running. Partey has been brilliant since his comeback to the starting XI. He played a big role in the club’s last win at Old Trafford in 2020.

Rice has excelled from an advanced central midfield position. He bagged a goal and an assist in the recent 3-0 win over Bournemouth. He scored his maiden Gunners goal with a late winner in the reverse fixture.

No changes are on the cards further forward. Arteta said that Saka is doubtful for the trip after suffering a cut on his left leg against Bournemouth, but he was probably playing mind games.

Kai Havertz has been exceptional up front since mid-February with eight goals and five assists. The German will lead the line.

Leandro Trossard should get the nod on the left wing. The Belgian has been a revelation this term with 16 goals in all competitions.

Martin Odegaard will start at number 10. The Norwegian has been in superb form and will be the key to creating chances against United.
