Barcelona midfielder Pablo Torre is attracting serious interest as his time at the club nears its end.
According to a report from SPORT, Portuguese giants Benfica have joined the growing list of clubs interested in signing the talented youngster.
Torre is expected to leave Barça this summer, and with that, the number of teams keen to secure his services is increasing rapidly.
The 22-year-old has many admirers across Europe, including clubs from Spain, Germany, Italy, England, France, and the Netherlands.
Benfica now appear ready to make a move for Torre as they look to make a statement in the transfer market.
The club from Lisbon seems more determined than ever to beat their rivals, Porto, who had already tried to bring the midfielder in during the winter window.
Last January, Porto had shown strong interest in Torre following the sale of Nico Gonzalez to Manchester City.

That move saw Porto receive €60 million, with Barcelona taking home 20% of the capital gain, approximately € 12 million. Still, Torre stayed at Barça, hoping to prove his worth under new manager Hansi Flick.
Now, however, things are different. The player and his representatives are weighing all options carefully. They want to choose a project that suits his playing style and guarantees him growth and minutes on the pitch.
While Benfica are among the frontrunners, clubs like Osasuna, Valencia, Betis, Sevilla, Mallorca, Real Sociedad, Bayer Leverkusen, and Lazio have all shown interest.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are expected to respect Torre’s decision but will aim to negotiate the best possible deal. Whether that involves a transfer fee or a clause that benefits them in the future, the club is focused on getting fair terms.
For now, Torre remains calm, waiting for the right opportunity to take the next step in his career.
