Tottenham Hotspur’s record goalscorer Harry Kane will not be making a blockbuster move to Chelsea this summer.

It has been a difficult week or so for the England captain at Bayern Munich following three consecutive defeats.

This has led to speculation emerging around his future with the Bundesliga giants and even a potential return to the Premier League.

Despite having netted an impressive 29 goals in his opening 30 appearances for Bayern, there had been some rumours online claiming the striker was unhappy in Munich.

And as a result, some at Chelsea had supposedly been put on alert over Kane’s potential interest in a return to England.

But The Spurs News has spoken to HITC Football’s Graeme Bailey, who has provided an insight on the 30-year-old’s situation in Germany.

Harry Kane not looking to leave Bayern

Despite some of the claims being made about the former Spurs striker, Kane remains keen to make his time at Bayern work despite a tricky couple of weeks.

“There is absolutely no truth to that. Not happening. Not true. Harry Kane isn’t leaving Bayern Munich anytime soon, he’s very happy where he is. He’s expecting Bayern to really make inroads in the summer market,” said Bailey.

Although Kane’s exit in the summer will have left many in north London disappointed to see the club’s record scorer leave, a move to Chelsea would have been even more painful.

But Kane’s time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is a big indication that he does not just give up on a team if they do not lift silverware.

Ange Postecoglou will have wished he still had the 30-year-old at his disposal this season as Spurs’ striker situation rolls on.

Richarlison has enjoyed a purple patch since his groin surgery earlier in the term, however, he is believed to be a player Spurs are open to offers on this summer if they can turn a profit.

And ahead of the summer, the club continue to be linked with potential striker targets, but one player who fans can forget about is Kane as he remains focused on life in Germany.
