An exclusive transfer news report from this weekend claims that Chelsea are now considering making a move to sign a very versatile Bayern Munich attacker this summer transfer window.

According to our writer Simon Phillips via his exclusive Substack site, Chelsea are now pondering a move to sign Bayern Munich attacker Mathys Tel, with the 19-year-old being spoken about at the club just this weekend.

Phillips says on Tel: “Chelsea are once again considering making a move to sign the 19-year-old this window and have held internal discussions about signing him this weekend.

“It’s only internal discussions at this time and nothing has advanced. But the fact he has now been mentioned twice by SPTC sources in the same year, would certainly suggest the interest there is pretty strong.”

Tel is a very exciting young talent with bags of potential. The fact he is versatile and could fill in at a number of different spots we are looking to recruit in this summer should be seen as a real positive and could make him a smart signing.

However, we don’t think for one minute that Bayern would be open to selling him and also, would he even want to leave them right now? He seems to be getting some good game time there, but I guess anything can happen in this business.
