Exclusive: Rangers Want Nicolas Raskin; Player Interested In Joining Glasgow Giants | OneFootball

We can confirm that Rangers are interested in Standard Liege midfielder Nicolas Raskin. Raskin was also wanted by another Belgian club Club Brugge. But the player has declined their offer. This news was broken first on The 4th Official Patreon.

Raskin is interested in a move to Rangers with the Scottish club thought to be an exciting place for the midfielder to the grow.

Standard Liege wants €5.5m for Nicolas Raskin but expect Rangers to negotiate.

So he’s a CM that is a “bully” on the field: sticking close to his man on defence, going box-to-box on offence. He’s definitely decent, but for me, he hasn’t really had his breakthrough seasons yet, especially in terms of goals/assists. He might have this year, the kid is still pretty young, but it’s time to show what he’s worth. He hasn’t been helped by his rubbish team either, Standard were a giant but they really fell down the order in the past few years.
