With just one year remaining on his Monaco contract, French midfielder Youssouf Fofana has been on the radar of clubs across the continent this summer. Reports had emerged earlier this week that the 25-year-old had agreed on terms with Milan, but that the Serie A outfit’s opening bid was deemed too low by their counterparts on the other side of the Alps.

Earlier this afternoon, RMC confirmed that personal terms had been agreed between Milan and Fofana, while Manchester United and one other Champions League outfit were also in the race to sign him. The Paris native, who has been a fixture of the Monégasque lineup for the past four seasons, was notably a part of Didier Deschamps’ squads for the World Cup in 2022 and the Euros this summer.

Get French Football News understands that the France international is indeed the subject of interest from both the Red Devils and the Rossoneri. However, the Principality side is not willing to entertain any offers below the €35m mark for the former Strasbourg man.
