Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo has struggled for regular game time at the club and he could be on his way out if the situation does not change drastically.
Top European clubs are keeping tabs on his situation at Liverpool, and they could be prepared to provide him with an exit route in the coming months.
Sources have informed CaughtOffside that the Japanese international is seeking a new club due to insufficient playing time at Liverpool.
The 31-year-old defensive midfielder has done reasonably well since his move to the Premier League from VfB Stuttgart last summer. He has proven himself to be a useful squad player, but he will hope to play more often at this stage of his career. Liverpool are unlikely to be able to provide him with that opportunity.
AC Milan have shown interest in the midfielder due to his versatility and on-field performances. The Italian club believe that his skills will add significant value to their squad. He is likely to be available for a reasonable price as well and he could be a quality addition to the Milan midfield.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot is yet to establish that Endo will play a crucial role under him. It seems that he is not a key part of Slot’s plans and therefore his chances of joining another club have increased. Liverpool could accept a fee of around €15-18 million for him.

Apart from Milan, clubs such as Celtic, Fulham, Wolverhampton, and Ipswich have also shown interest in the Japanese international as well. They could look to make a move for him in the near future.
The 31-year-old will probably hope to join a competitive club, where he will be able to push for trophies. A move to Milan could be quite attractive for him.
