Tottenham Hotspur could make a sensational move to bring Kyle Walker-Peters back to north London this summer.
Ange Postecoglou’s need for further strength in depth at right-back was there for all to see on Saturday in the absence of Pedro Porro.
Emerson Royal was the starting right-back in the defeat to Wolves as Spurs struggled to get any form of attacking rhythm going.
The summer could see Spurs strengthen in their full-back options and a return to N17 for Walker-Peters could be on the cards.
The Spurs News spoke exclusively to HITC Football’s Graeme Bailey, who shared a number of defensive targets who are on the radar for the Lilywhites.

Defeat against Wolves showed frailties on both sides of the defence with Destiny Udogie also sidelined through his own respective injury issue.
Having already added to their defence this season with the likes of Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin, attention may now be turned to full-back additions.
“My understanding is they are looking for someone who can possibly play both sides, not Diego Dalot but someone of that ilk,” Bailey said.
“I wouldn’t necessarily rule it out, Walker-Peters is someone who Chelsea looked at as well. For these signings as well, the fourth centre-half I still think is probably Lloyd Kelly or Tosin Adarabioyo to come in on a free. Good Premier League players but at the end of the day, they are going to be fourth choice. Spurs don’t need to go and spend £60 million on a centre half.”

The 26-year-old should be a player Spurs fans are very familiar with having seen him come through the ranks at Hotspur Way.
However, he did depart the club in 2020 after racking up just 24 appearances for the first team.
As Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg made the move in the opposite direction, Walker-Peters left north London for the Saints in a deal worth £12m.
He has since gone on to make 153 appearances on the south coast and could even be a part of a promotion clinching side as Russell Martin’s men aim for an instant return to the top flight.
A more attacking option off the bench for Udogie and Porro may be on the radar this summer and Walker-Peters is a player who has certainly shown his ability to play on either side of the defence.
But it may take Daniel Levy to swallow some of his pride first to bring the former Spurs player back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
