Southampton have announced the signing of striker Sékou Mara from struggling French side Bordeaux.
Following their relegation from Ligue 1, they have been beset with financial difficulties, the latest of which sees them forced to cash in on the 19-year-old.

Mara has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at St Mary’s after an agreement in principle was reached between the clubs last week.
He arrives for a fee of €11m plus a potential €2m in add-ons, according to the Athletic.
There was interest in his signature from across the continent after scoring six goals in Ligue 1 last season and he is the Saints’ sixth summer signing after Gavin Bazunu, Mateusz Lis, Armel Bella-Kotchap, Roméo Lavia and Joe Aribo.
