Marko Arnautovic says that Inter Milan “believe in the Treble” after this evening’s Serie A win over Cagliari.
The Austrian spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews. after the 3-1 win. He also gave his thoughts on his goal and assist in the huge victory.
Inter Milan got a massively significant win this evening.
The Nerazzurri beat Cagliari 3-1 in Serie A.
The result means that Inter are now six points ahead of Napoli at the top of the league table. At least until the Partenopei take on Empoli on Monday evening.
Meanwhile, Inter are having to juggle several competitions.
After today, the Nerazzurri will shift their focus to their Champions League quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich. They’re hoping to see out a 2-1 advantage from the first leg in Munich.

Striker Marko Arnautovic had a starring role to play in Inter’s win over Cagliari this evening.
The Austrian scored Inter’s opener. Then, he found Lautaro Martinez for the Nerazzurri’s second goal.
And Arnautovic commented with a smile after the match, “Every now and again I score.”
“We’re Inter,” he added. “It’s normal for us to believe in the Treble.”
‘Even if it’s still a long way away.”
Arnautovic then added that “in 2010, I was a fan.” The 36-year-old was part of Inter’s squad when they won the Treble in the 2009-10 season. He was, however, only a bit part player.
“Now I’m here again,” the striker added.
“And I’m happy with this win. Now we have to keep going like this.”
Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic firmly denied a rumour that he had claimed to be better than former Inter, AC Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
“No, that’s a lie,” he said. “I have a great deal of respect for him.”
“In 2010 I was happy to have played with so many top players,” Arnautovic said. “Now, let’s move forward.”
