Forrmer Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm has taken aim at his former teammates, including Harry Kane.
The Dutchman's comments came shortly before Spurs failed to beat ten-men Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Vorm said: "The situation over the past few years has been very up and down.
"I don't think Tottenham have a real old school leader in the squad that will say, 'Boys, we need to change this around.'"
Kane has managed just one goal in his ten Premier League outings this term, although he does have five in the Europa Conference League.
And Vorm, who made 48 appearances for Spurs in all competitions between 2014 and 2020, believes Kane must focus on his own form rather than be a leader under Conte.
The former Swansea goalkeeper added: "Harry Kane is struggling for goals, he's focussing on his own performance and so it's hard to be that leader.
"I think Antonio Conte will make sure that the players speak more and are more direct."
