Ex-Spurs boss Pochettino in talks with major Euro club

Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is in talks with an unnamed club.

Pochettino has been out of work for almost a year following his sacking at Spurs — but his appearance on Sky Sports on Monday night was a clear sign that he is now ready to return to the dugout.

The Daily Mail says it is understood the Argentine has had a conversation with at least one high-profile club in recent weeks with a view to a potential return to work.

Pochettino would be a strong contender to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but Manchester United will not be the only interested party.

United are continuing to back Solskjaer but the prospect of missing out on Pochettino will not be lost on the Old Trafford hierarchy.
