Former Spartak Moscow president Andrey Chervichenko is stunned seeing Chelsea seized from Roman Abramovich.

Abramovich has seen Chelsea accept an offer from Todd Boehly's consortium in the last 24 hours.

Chervichenko told Sport-Express: "A very muddy story, completely incomprehensible to me, if the owner does not get the money, then why sell it at all? If this is part of the combinations, in which part of the money will go to him or the sanctions will be weakened, then this is still understandable.

"It is difficult to say when 1/5 of the part is visible, and 4/5 is somewhere in the shade and there is some kind of cabal going on.

"Look, I am the owner of my club, they are trying to take both the club and the money from me, and why the hell do I need it? It's better to balk and say take it as you like, but then in 20-30 years I'll sue and take it all away from you. It is one thing when you yourself give, and another thing when you are taken away.

"The same thing happened in Europe when, years later, there was a restitution, when the Jews were given back their wealth taken by the Nazis. So here, after some time it will be possible to sue back, or return, or at least take the money.

"Most likely, we don't know something, I don't think that Abramovich is the kind of guy who will easily give up his own."
