Ex-Schalke SD Michael Reschke on Jean-Clair Todibo: “If he had the same mentality as Kimmich…”

Speaking in an interview with So Foot, ex-Schalke 04 Director of Football Michael Reschke discussed the future of 21-year-old OGC Nice loanee and Barcelona central defender Jean-Clair Todibo.

“He needs to learn to take the recuperation time to be able to be in full possession of his means and not to spend the night in front of video games.”

Reschke, who signed Joshua Kimmich in 2015 when at Bayern Munich, had the following to say:

“With each intervention, each training session, each match, Kimmich was focused and fully applied himself. When you need to sleep, he sleeps. He knows his diet by heart. If Todibo had the same mentality, he would be playing today at Barcelona.”
