Roma legend Francesco Totti discussed the Giallorossi’s goalless draw against Inter on Friday as well as the Nerazzurri’s season so far in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia at Rome’s ‘More books, more freedom’ event.

“A great match, Roma played open-ended and scored a point from the league leaders. I’ve always said that Inter, Juve and Napoli could have made a separate league. I think that Napoli have great staff and a great coach so they can pick themselves up.”

The 43-year-old Italian then touched on whether Juventus are more distracted by the Champions League this season.

“Yes, I think that’s their main goal after eight years of winning the league title. But this year Inter will give them a hard time, they’re a scrappy team with a top coach who wants to win at all costs. They’re proving their extra values, but I think Juve will push the accelerator at the decisive moment.”

Finally, Totti touched on Inter coach Antonio Conte.

“Yes, he can do well and have a good fight with Juventus. Conte, as I said, is that added value, a coach who transmits so much to the club and the team. Fortunately, he said what I said about Roma, testifying to what I’ve always said since some people said it wasn’t true.”
