Giovanni Mauri is adamant Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo can play into his 40s.
Fitness coach Mauri worked with Ronaldo, who turns 36 years of age today, at Real Madrid.

He told Tuttosport: "He can play up to 40 years.
“I always see an athlete who expresses power, speed, intuitive skills. I coached several forties, such as (Paolo) Maldini or (Billy) Costacurta.
"In Paris I coached (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic and I was sure he would arrive at 40 and still be on the field. They are like thoroughbred horses, Cristiano Ronaldo is part of this category and can certainly remain at a high level up to 40 years."
