Ex-Real Madrid coach Toshack: I've told Spurs attacker Bale to ignore his agent

Former Wales and Real Madrid coach John Toshack has revealed past advice to Gareth Bale.

Bale is currently on-loan at Tottenham from Real Madrid, with his future up in the air.

Toshack told Goal: "Usually it is not the players who are controversial, it is the agents.

"One might think that they work for the players' best interests, but in many cases the agent does more harm than good.

"I had told Bale to ignore your agent and make your own decisions."
