Ex-Palermo Director Rino Foschi: “Inter’s Transfer Market Was Incomplete” | OneFootball

Former Palermo director Rino Foschi has said that Inter’s transfer market was not completed in the summer window, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Speaking during an interview with 1 Station Radio, via FCInternews, Rino Foschi talked about what Inter did and didn’t manage to accomplish during the summer transfer window in 2022.

He described the market as incomplete and then suggested that it is a shame given the Nerazzurri are representing the country in the UEFA Champions League along with other teams from Serie A.

“Inter’s market has not been completed and the difficulties start from behind. Let’s hope not because we’re talking about an important team technically, who are competitive, representing us in the Champions League. They will fight for the Scudetto, but to give verdicts would be difficult.”

The Nerazzurri did the majority of their business very early in the window, particularly in regard to incoming. Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Kristjan Asllani, Raoul Bellanova, Andre Onana and Romelu Lukaku all arrived before August did.

The issue that Rino Foschi is likely referring to is the fact that they were unable to ship out the players that they no longer wanted and therefore couldn’t get anyone else in such as Paulo Dybala.
