Former Inter striker Jurgen Klinsmann believes that the situation of Juventus striker Paulo Dybala can benefit the Nerazzurri in a number of ways.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, the German suggested that with the Bianconeri preoccupied with Dybala’s contract situation, the Nerazzurri can have an easier path to a second Scudetto, and also that the 28-year-old can have a big impact if he leaves his club.

Dybala’s current deal with the Bianconeri is set to expire at the end of June, and as of yet no agreement has been found on an extension for him in Turin.

Inter are one of the main clubs tracking the Argentine, and should he join on a free transfer in the summer, he would represent a significant piece of business who could improve the team.

However, Klinsmann feels that this is not the only way in which Dybala could improve Inter, and also highlights the significance of the distraction that his contract dificulties provide to a major rival.

“I can say that every complication that happens from Juventus makes me happy to see because I’m an Inter fan and I would always like to see them in trouble,” the former striker joked.

“But seriously,” he went on, “it’s definitely interesting to see what happens with Dybala as there’s no doubt that he’s a top player, and the fact that we keep talking about him only complicates Juventus’s plans and will probably help Inter win another title.”

Of the Argentine, who is a significant Nerazzurri target, Klinsmann stated that “I’m convinced that he’ll do well no matter where he goes, because he’s an elite player.”
