The injuries are starting to pile up for Inter.

Yesterday, the Nerazzurri lost both Hakan Calhanoglu and Francesco Acerbi in the first half of their Serie A clash with Roma.

In both cases, the Gazzetta confirm, they should be out for at least a few days.

Neither Calhnaoglu nor Acerbi have suffered major injuries. But there would certainly be no chance of seeing them in the squad to face Young Boys this week.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta report, another player who won’t return for Wendesday’s match is Kristjan Asllani.

The Albanian suffered a knock in training last week. He missed the match against Roma and will still be out on Wednesday.

That leaves Inter coach Simone Inzaghi without both holding midfielders in Calhanoglu and Asllani.

But there is one piece of good news for the Nerazzurri coach.

Piotr Zielinski To Be Fit For Champions League Clash Vs Young Boys

Midfielder Zielinski missed yesterday’s Serie A clash with Roma.

The reason for the Pole’s absence was a thigh strain. He had picked up the problem during the international break.

However, Zielinski’s injury is not a serious one. Therefore, he has always been targeting the match against Young Boys as a potential return date.

And according to the Gazzetta, the signs are very positive for Zielinski.

The 30-year-old former Napoli and Empoli midfielder has been recovering very quickly.

Therefore, Zielinski will be ready for Wednesday’s match against Young Boys.

That will give Inter coach Inzaghi a bit of breathing room as far as the squad rotation is concerned during a very busy run of fixtures.
