Former Inter President Massimo Moratti weighed in on Jose Mourinho’s concluded tenure in the Italian capital following his sacking in mid-January.
The Italian executive, and close personal friend of Mourinho’s, spoke to Corriere della Sera about Mourinho’s dismissal from Roma.

“I’m really sorry about the way it all ended for him at Roma,” said Moratti.
“I imagine he’s still recovering from that, probably suffers a lot because of how it came to end. But I also know what he’s capable of and his abilities remain the same.”
“I believe that in Rome, although De Rossi is doing a great job, the people are still fond of Mourinho.”
