Former Inter defender Daniele Adani believes that Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has become a complete centre-forward in his recent form.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, via FCInterNews, the former defender described Martinez’s recent form as “spectacular,” and noted that he is contributing to the team well beyond just scoring goals.

Martinez is on fifteen goals for Inter in all competitions so far this season, with seven of those coming after the winter break.

Moreover, the 25-year-old has also bagged a further assist since the break, whilst his pressing and linkup play have also been a real reference point in the final third for the Nerazzurri and set the tone for the entire team from the front.

From Adani’s perspective, there are no longer any questions about it, Martinez has now reached the level of a top centre-forward.

Speaking about the Milan derby, Adani stated that “Toro was the best player out of the thirty who were on the pitch, he was spectacular in all aspects of his game, a true top player in the tradition of the best Argentine number nines.”

“So much of Inter’s victory can be seen in Lautaro’s performance,” he added.
