A former Italian football coach, Corrado Orrico, has suggested that Inter will find it much harder to beat Fiorentina when the reverse fixture at San Siro takes place, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Whilst speaking to a Tuscany-based radio station called Radio Bruno Toscana, as reported by FcINternews, Corrado Orrico explained that Fiorentina will be in an even stronger shape when the two teams meet again.

Fiorentina are still finding their shape and rhythm under their new coach, Vincenzo Italiano, so the ex-Inter boss thinks that players will be in positions more suited to their skills when the reverse fixture happens.

“The real challenge will be the return match, at San Siro. It won’t be easy for the Nerazzurri, I’m sure.

“Fiorentina will be in better shape, more intense, with rhythm and the players in the positions that Italiano wants.”

Fiorentina were by far the better team in the first half of the match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Tuesday night, and were 1-0 up at the break.

Two quickfire goals from Matteo Darmian and Edin Dzeko at the start of the second half meant Inter left Tuscany with all three points.
