He told Bayern 1: "Barcelona is no longer a model for us, at all.

"In reality, Barcelona is bankrupt. In Germany, Barcelona would be a case for a judge responsible for insolvency."

Hoeness also spoke of former Bayern defender David Alaba's summer move to Real Madrid.

He added: "David once told me: 'my dream is still to play for Barcelona'. So I said to him: 'Do you want to negotiate with the president or with the bankruptcy administrator?'"
