It’s all official – Sanchez will once again be an Inter player this season.

The Nerazzurri have formally announced the 34-year-old’s return on a free transfer, twelve months after he departed via the same route.

Therefore, Sanchez can now get back to work with his Inter teammates again.

There will be plenty of familiar faces for the Chilean, who last wore the Nerazzurri shirt in the 2021-22 campaign. And then there will be some new players to build chemistry with, considering the turnover in Inter’s squad over the past few transfer windows.

Sanchez has gotten straight to work.

The Chilean former Arsenal, Manchester United, and Barcelona forward is training with his teammates.

But Sanchez will not be fully fit in time for tomorrow’s match away to Cagliari. He will not even be on the bench at the Sardegna Arena.

The reason that Sanchez won’t be in the Nerazzurri’s squad tomorrow is that he is not yet match-fit.

Whilst the 34-year-old has been working on his own to keep fit after leaving Marseille at the end of his contract, he has not had the chance to work with a team in preseason.

Therefore, Sanchez’s condition is not yet where it needs to be.

However, it may not take long for Sanchez to be ready to get back on the pitch.

Tuttosport identify next Sunday’s match against Fiorentina as a potential point for the Chilean to already be back in action.

Sanchez will also have matches with Chile during the international break.

Therefore, the forward is currently hurrying to get back to fitness. He should be back to face La Viola.
